I have installed your software today on a machine running XP Professional. When I try to open the software i get "Runtime Error 216 at 00403E2A" I have run the install repair and removed and reinstalled the software twice and I still get the same error. On my first install I was able to use it once by running the install program again and then the repair option but once I quit and tried to go back I could not get the program to open, I got the above message again.

The "Runtime error 216" message is caused by several reasons. Refer to the case which is applied to you.
Error 216 might be caused by firewall. Free Accounting needs access to SQL Server, which means it needs access to a port. If that port is blocked you get error 216. So unblock port 1433 and also the app and SQL Server and all its associated services.
It might be a Microsoft error and there can be multiple reasons for it to appear. Please, contact Microsoft to solve it. Refer to the following Microsoft page for more information about the error: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=842242
